Our Committee

Preschool is run by a voluntary Management Committee, usually elected at the AGM each year.  There are a number of roles on the Committee involving different skills and time commitment.  Present Committee members would be happy to talk to you in more detail. 


There are also a number of fund-raising events during the year which are good opportunities for socialising and raise extra funds for Preschool – your help is much needed at these times either to help out or simply to come along and enjoy yourself. All of our committee have completed enhanced DBS checks.

Parent Helper

Experience has shown us that one of the best contributing factors in child development is interaction with a variety of adults.


This is why we consider that the parent helper rota is so invaluable to Pre-School. Using the rota allows both the children and the parents to develop a greater understanding of the community in which they live.


This can also be an ideal opportunity to look at your child’s file and get feedback from your child’s key-person. Please look in your prospectus for more information on how you can contribute as a parent helper. Or names can be entered on the rota, which is sited on the entrance notice board, at any time.


Parents could read a story, do an activity with the children or play a musical intrument. The choice is yours!


Please Note: Siblings will always be made welcome
